Mike Lowe's 2001 Oldsmobile Alero
(SUPERCHARGED)

This car was bought in the winter of 2000 from the Empire Oldsmobile Dealership, which now is Kuni/Burt. It has the standard 3.4 SFI engine that is rated at 170 HP with 200 FTLBS of torque. OK well I guess I should say it HAD all of the above stuff.

Now it has the same 3.4-liter engine with a few modifications totaling 230 HP and 265 FTLBS of torque. It now has the Magnuson M62 supercharger running 10lbs of pressure; this was upgraded from the 5lbs that came stock with the supercharger. It also has a ported throttle body to 62mm, from 58mm, a ported upper and lower intake, (you have to be able to get the extra air into the motor) and then the exhaust had been done from the cat back to a 2.5 in system.

As for the suspension it has Eibach prokit springs, new from heavier sway bar, then on top in both the front and rear are strut tower braces. As for the tennis shoes it wears those are the 225/60/R16 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KWDS tires.

As for the appearance of the vehicle I added the heat extractors to the hood to rid the engine compartment of the heat generated by the closed quarters of the engine bay. The interior has a three-gauge pillar pod, which holds the air/fuel meter, fuel pressure gauge, and the all important boost gauge which all light up blue at night. The instrument cluster was also added too house the Speedhut custom gauges with the olds logo which are also an reversed indiglo gauge set and light up blue at night as well. I have also added the ghost logo on the quarter panels in a blue color as well

This car is my daily driver as well and I really have not lost any of the MPG if you can believe that but like always depend on how hard it is being driven
