This year the Olds Club of America held the annual National Meet in Seattle Washington. Members from our club went up in a couple of caravans and also a few solo people went out there. All told we had nearly 30 members at the meet, which is quite a turn out. We had cars from the 50's all the way up to the 2000's. We had a great showing.
Everyone had a great
time not only showing off the cars but at the outing as well. These are just a
few photos from the trip. Enojoy.
Here we are getting ready to hit the road for
the 1300 mile trek to Seattle.
Here is Josh on the morning of day 2 looking a
little tired from the ride. Bob and Barb look good on their trip.
The Ruppel caravan is having a great time. Hey
that's not an adult beverage is it Larry? Eric's 442 ran out out of gas on one leg. Take
it from me Eric you have to stop every 150 miles max with that car.
Rick's caravan found this great little gas
station in Ellenburg WA.
Looks like we made it!!!! Whoo Hooo!!!
A couple more Seattle sites. The big Market
on the sound and of course Mt. Rainer!
Here we see the show field. A little before it
filled up. Various shots from out and about the field. Eric's 442, Keith Johnson
cleaning his up and Joe and Loris cars too.
Check out all the RMOC members at the Banquet.
Here we are enjoying the festivities. Ralph
Dickman and his Best Of Class award for his final 500 Olds.
The Peifers saying goodbye and there is Wilbur
Harr getting ready to end the big night.
Josh Driving the Cutlass down the Pacific
Coast Highway on the side trip home.
Move the car quick in case that tree falls
over. Had to post this one. Thanks to Rick Lane for leading the caravan for
our group. Also thanks to Larry Ruppel for leading the 2nd group.
