1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta Wagon
If you haven't heard it seems the RMOC has a celebrity in our midst. That's right Bob Petri's 57 Olds was recently featured in Muscle Car Motion magazine. Not to mention he has won at least two "best of class" trophies in 2003 at car shows.
Bob purchased the Super 88 "Fiesta" wagon in October of 2000 for the same price the original owner paid when he bought it 43 years ago. This was after six months of trying to work a deal. Of course it was not in the condition that was new back in 57.
Much of the restoration has been done by Mr. Petri himself, including body detailing, engine rebuild and a ton of other mechanical updates. The original hubcaps are still on the wheels as you see here. The interior was also redone. If you haven't yet seen this car in person you are missing out it is truly a beautiful automobile!
